Asshat is quickly becoming a favorite term of mine.
It is starting to be used by a growing number of people as a way to express a not so positive view of a person. Scott Adams recently used it in his blog the other day in reference to the Govenor of Illinois (“Thanks to Govenor Asshat…”). Awesome.
I tend to use to describe one particular type of person:
This is the guy, and we all know one, who is usually a yuppie, or a yuppie-wannabe, driving the European Import of some sort that is tailgating you, in the slow lane or on a residential street.
He is the guy with the earbud permantly afixed to his ear, talking loudly in the resturant, movie, child’s sports event or band recital.

Started using that term last spring…it actually feels old and non-trendy to me now.

That’s because you’re in NYC. I’m a little behind the times here in Maryland, but I’m cool with that. 🙂

Yes, asshats are the latest fashion statement in the Greater Washington DC area. LOL! 🙂

Ha! They are aplenty in the Baltimore area and beltway, too. The whole idea for the Asshat thing popped into my head while commuting to work one morning.
