If you haven’t heard of this guy, he is the D.C. judge who sued a dry cleaners. They lost his pants, offered to replace but he refused and sued for $65 million claiming false advertising by having a sign that says, “Satisfaction Guaranteed.” About every court in the world has rejected his case, latest being last December a three-judge panel from the D.C. Court of Appeals saying his argument lacked logic. So what did he do? He filed another appeal with the D.C. Court of Appeals ask that a nine-judge panel hear his case. Asshat.
BTW, I know that “guaranteed” is misspelled in the cartoon. I was too lazy to redraw it last night. So sue me!
Govenor Blagojevich. How could I not include him in my Asshat series? It was almost too easy, sadly. Actually, I am not the first to call him Govenor Asshat, Scott Adams referred to him as “Govenor Asshat” in this post from last month. I don’t mind riding on his coat tails a little.
Happy New Year 2009
From me to you and yours, may you have a happy, healthy and safe 2009.
Sorry for the Mess...
My little comment on the past year.
Old and Stale
Someone commented on one my drawings the other day and basically told me this. How could I resist?
I’ll be the first to say that I am not trendy, cool, talented or funny. You’re preaching to the choir, dude. I do these to keep my therapy bills manageable.
This is from a story I heard a week or two ago. A movie was recently released and a radio station was offered a private screening in the star’s home if they would say nice things about the film.
They have Asshats in Hollywood. Who knew…
In celebration of the season…
Also, my first real attempt with a background.
This is almost a daily conversation in my household. Guess which one is me and which is my wife. 🙂
This one also kind of drew itself.
Really, I don’t think I’m addicted. I just REALLY like it!
